Launching the game
Going to software fullscreen if hardware acceleration is off at launch.
Getting proper colors and visuals in software fullscreen if you launch windowed first, going into a game, going fullscreen via pressing F4, going to options, toggling hardware acceleration on (this will still remain in software however while the menu is up. Do NOT hit F4 to go into actual accel mode, otherwise you'll crash!), hitting ok, going back to options, and turning acceleration off again. Phew.
(Windows 98 Compatibility Mode recommended for this game!)
What does not
Cinematics do not work properly or have messed up colors if you launch in fullscreen by default.
Colors in-game are messed up if you launch fullscreen by default.
Going to fullscreen in mid-game after launching windowed gives you a white screen unless you toggle acceleration on and back off.
If you have 3D Acceleration on by default at launch, you cannot go fullscreen at all, not even in software.
3D Acceleration doesn't work at all, and crashes the game outright if you press F4 to actually go into 3D Accelerated mode.
